CHANDELIER BAR ****** This establishment located inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino derives its name from the striking, highly glamorous adornment featured as its central piece. The spectacular chandelier constructed out of thousands of Swarovski crystals glitters and sparkles, making the visitors feel a part of a very exclusive, remarkable experience. As well we should, considering this flashy extravaganza is actually worth several million dollars! Another interesting feature of this bar consists in the fact that it is spread throughout three different floors. Each level possesses a slightly different vibe, mostly expressed in the style of interior and its signature cocktails (a bit pricy, but some very original and interesting flavors can be sampled here). Even though those three ambiences kind of represent separate entities in themselves, they still carry the common denominator of being very glitzy, lively and upbeat. The atmosphere is positively charged with an exciting, adventurous spirit and the sexy, friendly servers further contribute to the fabulousness factor of the place. As far as the guests are concerned, the Chandelier mostly attracts hip, trendy people:  well dressed and intent to be seen. This beautiful, slightly pretentious crowd clearly sees this venue as their first stop on the meat market search for a weekend-night fling or maybe even a chance of finding a suitable mate. Groups of mini- skirted young ladies and besuited, cigar-smoking gentlemen were enthusiastically hooking up all over the place. Which in itself constituted great entertainment and was quite intriguing to watch. More than once I let my companions continue their conversation while I discreetly focused my attention towards the fascinating spectacle around. Since I can’t do (my Darling, alas, would be none too pleased if I started participating in the “Banger Games”), at least I can watch, right? But please don’t be discouraged if despite your best attempts you do not look like a club-hopping, edgy hipster. Luckily the Chandelier also offers a temporary haven to those of us who prefer to keep a lower profile. I would certainly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a hot spot to visit before hitting the clubs, but it will also work in case a high-energy, slightly decadent venue fulfills your requirements for the evening’s entertainment. And if you want to give your good dress an outing this would be the perfect opportunity for it, as you would fit right in with the other fancily attired guests :-)!
